Save on CTP Insurance

In QLD and NSW, you have a choice of Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurers.  Better yet, you can get instant online quote calculations for your CTP insurance for most vehicles.

 

In New South Wales, the Motor Accidents Authority (MAA) offers a green slip calculator online. The calculator covers all licensed CTP insurers for NSW, and as each insurer has different ways of calculating the premiums, you can find savings to suit you. To calculate quotes, complete the online form with all required details, submit and then compare.

In QLD the online quote service is provided by the Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC). Similar to NSW, completing the online forms will return premium prices from different insurers side by side, making it easy for you to compare.

Other Things to Consider

 

Selecting the best price on your CTP insurance alone may not provide you with the biggest saving. Certain insurers may consider a CTP policy as contributing towards multi-policy discounts, so you may wish to talk to your comprehensive insurer, home & contents insurer, etc, before making any decisions based on CTP premium price alone.

 

At the end of the day, it always pays to shop around. Just be sure you take everything you can into consideration before making any decisions.
